The Upper School Drama Club at JPG has been adapting and performing a spring Shakespeare play since 2013. We seek to carry on the legacy of our school's patron, St. John Paul II, who performed and wrote plays and once dreamed of becoming an actor. He believed that the theater could become a sort of "church" that proclaimed God's plan of salvation and revealed deep truths about what it means to be human. 🎭 Students in 7th-12th grade who participate in Drama learn the fundamentals of acting and theater production while practicing the classical art of rhetoric, developing public speaking and memory skills, acquiring a facility with Shakespearean drama, building self confidence, and nurturing friendships.🎁 You can support the JPG Drama Club this Thursday, May 5, with a gift through SOLA Giving Day at solagivingday.org/organizations/jpg | John Paul the Great Academy
