Lego…Lego…Lego… During the last weekend of September, SPYS members met up for a weekend in Lunzjata Retreat Centre in Rabat for a very creative, motivational weekend together. This project has been funded by the Training Initiatives Scheme managed by the Malta Council for the Voluntary Sector. Lego serious play is a training method which helps in Rebuilding high performance teams for youth work. During the weekend, we built (using Lego bricks) 3-dimensional models of our ideas and told stories about them. These were both individual and shared models. We also expressed our thoughts, shared our goals, aims and dreams and planned for the coming years. We surely had improved our creative thinking and communication whilst working together as a team. It was very nice to listen and share our experiences as well as our opinion. A lot of beautiful ideas emerged by the end of this live-in.
